Joe Tansin

Joe Tansin is a soulful singer-songwriter whose music blends rootsy Americana with classic American blues.

He is best known as a former member of the legendary band Badfinger, famously signed by The Beatles to their Apple Records label. Badfinger’s song “Baby Blue” gained renewed fame when it was featured in the final episode of the hit TV series Breaking Bad, becoming the most downloaded song on Apple iTunes at the time.

Throughout his career, Joe has worked with some of the most respected names in the music industry. He collaborated with the late Nicky Hopkins, a legendary pianist who played with The Rolling Stones, John Lennon, and Rod Stewart. Joe also worked with acclaimed singer-songwriter Dean Ford (of The Marmalade and The Alan Parsons Project), best known for writing “Reflections of My Life”, a worldwide hit that reached #1 on the Billboard charts in both the U.S. and the UK.
