His father, Alan Whitehead, who has also enjoyed a successful career as a showbiz manager and published author, was the drummer with the chart-topping seventies group Marmalade.
From a young age, Kurtis was enchanted by the world of magic. While many children eventually outgrow their fascination with magic tricks, Kurtis’s passion only intensified. Over the years, he honed his skills, developing a repertoire that blends traditional sleight-of-hand with innovative, quirky performances.
Kurtis performs professionally in London and the surrounding areas, bringing his unique magic to a variety of events. Whether it’s a wedding, birthday party, engagement celebration, corporate event, trade show, Bar or Bat-Mitzvah, or any special occasion, Kurtis ensures an unforgettable experience for all his audiences.

Kurtis is a very energetic and fun person who knows all about hard work. Recently, he finished working for Disney Cruise Line as an Entertainment Host and is now looking to move forward with his career. Prior to Disney, he was a Redcoat at Butlins.
He has been in the entertainment industry since he was 15, starting off with children’s parties and progressing onto stilt walking, fire performances, angle grinding, magic, DJing, and much more. Kurtis considers himself fun to be around and is always up for a new challenge.
He has also worked in many clubs and venues all over the UK. Some of whom include HOYS (Horse of the Year Show), Luminar Clubs (Liquid, Envy, Lava, Oceana), World of Fun (children’s parties), Disney Cruise Line, Bourne Leisure, Thistle Hotels, Selfridges, Gatecrasher, Shell, Pepsi, Harrods, Merlin Entertainment, and Warner Bros Studio.
